Location:

Where the photos are taken depend on the type of images you have in mind.

Some of the Canine photos are taken outside where we can find fewer distractions and open shade. We need lots of space!

Celebration photos are most meaningful when captured in your home.

Environmental portraits need to reflect the workplace you are portraying.

Any other ideas? Let me know and we can work something out!

Time of day

We will discuss what will work better for both of our schedules and nail down a time that will hopefully provide the most pleasing light.

Canine Photos:

Safety is #1

You must be in control of your dog at all times. I will not directly interact with your dog until after the photos are taken. Please bring your own treats for them and I will have a few toys and noise makers to attract their attention.

Please remove your dog’s harness , leash and collar for the posed shots of your pet. I will give you a thin black lead to use in these shots where you will be holding the lead but out of the frame. This way, your dog is in your control and safe.

If you have a favorite accessory you would like to include, just let me know. I have a limited number of flower crowns and bandannas but you are welcome to use them.

Information that is great for me to know ahead of time includes a description of your dog, age, breed, key words your dog may respond to such as “walk”, what level of training they may have had and anything else you would like to share .

Please remember that for Canine photos, my focus is on your dog.

If at any time I feel that the photoshoot becomes unsafe or is not optimal for some reason, I will stop the photo session. I will decide what the next steps will be.

Cancellations:

Life happens! Weather can dictate what happens on most days and schedules change. I am open to rescheduling the photoshoot up to a couple of times so let me know if anything changes.

How much does this cost and what pictures do I get?

Currently I am scheduling photo sessions in 1 hour lengths. During that time, we will move around that location to get the best light and action or still photos. Fun is the name of the game!

I will edit these images and provide you with a minimum of 5 images I feel are worthy of printing. You will receive the images via Drop Box Link so that you can take to your professional photo printer and have the number and sizes of images you want printed to enjoy in your home. I would encourage you to choose a professional printer as this is one area where you DO get what you pay for.

My fee is based on my hourly rate with mileage added if location is more than 100 kms away. Please contact me for more details.

Payment

Half of the fee is due upon booking, but the remaining balance must be paid when the final images are shared with you.
