As a passionate photographer based in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, my goal is to capture the special moments in your life. I endeavor to make you feel comfortable, with images that you can enjoy for many years.
I am continually challenging myself to explore opportunities with my camera and increase my skills through regular workshops, courses and online learning. I have achieved Accreditation in the Botanical Class and Canine with the Professional Photographers of Canada and I am truly grateful to this group for their support, encouragement and ongoing education. Photography has always been a part of my life and I am enriched with each photoshoot.
I have a particular joy in documenting the bond that exists between humans and their loyal canine companions. Whether they are protecting, playing, helping or simply being by our side, dogs truly fill a special place in our lives.
I also enjoy capturing the world around us in nature, landscapes, animals and also in the special people that live there. I have a penchant for black and white portraits of those who have recently joined our world!

Where it all began…
Canine Companions
Ginger, my first dog, was a true mutt, a blend of various breeds. Named after a spice from my mother's well-stocked spice rack, she quickly became an inseparable part of my life. Always eager to join my games, Ginger would play tag with me and patiently endure being dressed up in doll clothes. In my early years, she wasn't just a pet but my closest confidante, the one I could always rely on for companionship and comfort.
Photography
My love for photography has to be attributed to my parents. They loved photography and had a darkroom in the basement of their home to develop and make prints. Dad enjoyed animals and birds while Mom loved capturing the grandchildren’s portraits when they visited. A trend that continues in my home…
